VOC Announces Partnership with American Cold War Veterans

VOC Executive Director Marion Smith announced an exciting new partnership with the American Cold War Veterans (ACWV) to educate young people on the lessons of the Cold War, especially the sacrifices made by the veterans who stood watch around the globe for nearly five decades to keep the free world safe and to extend the cause of liberty. In addition, VOC will take on the initiative to help finally establish an official service medal for Cold War veterans.

Chairman of the ACWV Charles H. Nalls (COL.) (Ret.) remarked, "On behalf of American Cold War Veterans, I am proud to stand with the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation to announce our partnership to achieve that goal of recognition and to preserve a history that must never be forgotten, for to forget dooms us to repeat."
